Kids Love Greece featured in Australia’s number one family travel magazine

Last summer, Kids Love Greece worked with travel blogger Sarah Knight, helping to plan some experiences for her family in Greece. She loved her time in Greece so much, she’s published an article about them in Australia’s number one family travel magazine!

By the Sea with Three

We really enjoyed helping Sarah from By the Sea with Three plan her family travels in Greece. Following her journey around Greece was almost as much fun as if we were there ourselves! In particular, we know that Sarah and her family loved Paros, and she described it as:

Located midway between it’s more popular cousins Santorini and Mykonos, Paros is an unspoilt beauty; offering island life without the crowds.

If that doesn’t sound like an ideal family destination in Greece, we don’t know what is!

So, it was a lovely surprise then, when we found out that Sarah had written an article for Australia’s number one family travel magazine ‘Holidays with Kids‘. With a distribution that  includes company-owned McDonald’s Restaurants, Rebel Sport stores, airline lounges, the only English magazine inflight with China Eastern Airlines, news-agencies, and family resorts, we couldn’t be more thrilled that Greece will get even more exposure as a family-friendly destination for 2018.

We’ve got a couple of images from the magazine below for you to look at.

We can’t thank Sarah and Holidays with Kids enough for their feature on Greece, and we hope it leads to even more people discovering just how wonderful our country is.

Greece 2018

Greece is set to become another popular destination for families for 2018. We’ve written before about all the good points, such as how safe it is for families, the great weather, the culture, and the uniquely beautiful islands. But you don’t need to wait until the summer to visit!

Spring is an excellent season to visit Greece, especially for families that want more authentic experiences during their stay. In our recent newsletter, we highlighted two suggestions for Spring Break and Easter Vacations in Greece:

1. Costa Navarino 2018 Easter package for 3 or 4 nights

Costa Navarino The Westin Pool

The luxury Costa Navarino resort and spa in the Peloponnese specializes in providing guests with authentic experiences, without sacrificing any of the comforts. We’ve partnered with them to offer an Easter package which will give your family the opportunity to join locals in their customs during the most important festival in the Greek calendar.

Experience first-hand Messinia’s traditions and festivities, deriving from the region’s rich cultural heritage, and join in the customs and solemn rituals of the Holy Week. Start on Holy Friday morning by adorning the “Epitaphios” with flowers, watch the firework spectacle on Holy Saturday, and join the joyful culmination on Easter Sunday. Your family will live unique moments in this seaside, verdant land.

• Traditional Easter amenity in the room
• Buffet breakfast daily
• Fast dinner on Holy Friday
• Late dinner on Holy Saturday
• Easter Sunday festive lunch & starters from 11am. with traditional music and dances.

We can even combine an Easter stay here with trips to the significant archaeological sites in the area such as Olympia and Mycenae. For more information, contact the Kids Love Greece team!

2. Percy Jackson Small Group Tours

Our Percy Jackson tours usually run on a private basis. During 2018 though, we are also introducing them on a semi-private basis due to high demand. Our spring dates are May 25th – May 31stWe are restricting the numbers to 3 or 4 families for the Spring Percy Jackson Semi-Private tour, so be sure to reserve your place soon! (Private family tours are always available).
