In the company of an expert local guide you will hike along the bed of a river, swim where it is deep enough, scramble up rocks, and climb over obstacles on the way to the ultimate goal – the amazing Preveli Monastery.
The River
The day starts with a visit to a waterfall, which is the source of the river which will then be followed. After seeing the waterfall, you will then be taken to an old arched Venetian bridge where the trek itself begins.
You will follow the path of the river, literally in the bed itself. There will be many opportunities to swim and play in the water along the way, and the entire activity is one of adventure and excitement.
