Hotel rooms in Greece are typically ready for check-in at 3 PM. Yet your flight lands in Athens early in the morning, you’re tired from your trip, and all you need is to unwind and get a first taste of Greece in full relaxing mode.

We have prepared for you an amazing morning escape to the Athens Riviera! You will visit the beautiful coastline of Athens with dozens of stunning beaches, taverns/ restaurants, and marinas, and ultimately the majestic temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio.

Sample Itinerary

Stop One: Your personal driver will pick up up from the airport (or port) and will stop for a quick snack at a local bakery, for fresh orange juices, coffee, and pastries.

Stop Two: Then we will head to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon, where Poseidon, the ancient god of the sea, was worshipped by ancient Greeks. The views over the Aegean Sea from his temple are stunning.

Stop Three: Depending on how much time you have, for the next stop you can opt for a swim and quick lunch in Lake Vouliagmeni (ancient Greeks believed in the healing powers of its thermal waters!) or a snack/ lunch in a seaside taverna on the Athenian Riviera, before heading back to central Athens for the checking in at your hotel!

On the way to Central Athens and if time allows, you will be able to pass by the Temple of Zeus as well as the Panathenaic Stadium. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel at 3 PM.
