INTRODUCING THE ADVANTAGE PROGRAM “Reschedule and Not Cancel”

In response to travel restrictions and government guidelines, Kids Love Greece has taken some positive steps for your existing and any future travel to Greece.

Specifically, being a travel agent, we have negotiated with our key collaborators (namely, local tour operators) some favorable terms and conditions which safeguard our peace of mind for you in case your family will not be able to travel to Greece due to Covid-19.

Cancelation and refunds policy of existing booking with us – tours and activities only

Kids Love Greece understands that a Participant may need to change or cancel an already booked service. The following cancellation policy applies for Tours/ Activities (excluding accommodation*) which will take place from February 5th, 2021 onwards.

OPTION 1: “Reschedule and Not Cancel”

Kids Love Greece reserves the right to offer a credit note (travel voucher) instead of a cash refund. The expiration date is 24 months from the issue of the credit note. After this time period and if the travel voucher is not used, the monetary value of the travel voucher (credit note) will be refunded in cash (minus a service fee of 3%). If you wish to get the cash refund after 24 months, the notification must be received in writing 3 months before the expiration of the credit note.

The travel voucher can be gifted/ is transferable.

The Kids Love Greece travel advisors will be at your disposal to reschedule your family trip, once you finalize your new travel dates.

OPTION 2: Cancel

Kids Love Greece will not proceed to any refund except those who are in accordance with these Terms.

You are kindly requested to let us know whether you choose Option 1 or Option 2 at least 20 days before your expected arrival day to avoid any cancelation fees (up to 100%). Your travel advisor will contact you to discuss your two options.

*Cancelation and refunds policy of existing booking with us – accommodation only

If you have booked accommodation with us, any refund or cancelation is 100% at the discretion of the management of each accommodation establishment. Our trip planners will do their best to support our clients and negotiate favorable terms.

Kids Love Greece is a travel agent which works with Greek local operators and accommodation establishments.

In almost all tours/ activities and before the coronavirus outbreak, typically our clients were eligible for a full refund up to 2-3 weeks before the trip (it varies by local tour operator). For accommodation establishments, the cancelation policies varied.

As the current situation is quite exceptional, the local tour operators have re-adjusted their policies.

The refund process is currently controlled by the local tour operators and accommodation establishments, after the discussions they had with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Finance as well as the European Union authorities.

For the most reliable information on your refund please talk to your personal travel planner. There you can find how much you will be reimbursed according to the cancellation policy of each activity/ tour as well as each accommodation establishment.

Bear in mind that if the cancellation policy of the local tour operator(s) and accommodation establishment(s) changes, we will have to follow that company(ies)’s/ guidelines. We have tried to convince local tour operators and accommodation establishments to relax their rules, but unfortunately in some cases, it is not at our discretion.
