The tour kicks off at Syntagma Square, where you’ll enjoy a traditional koulouri (sesame bread roll) while learning about the royal history of the Parliament Building. Next, savor a warm tyropita (cheese pie, all Greeks’ favorite snack!) at a historic bakery. At the Kolokotronis statue, kids can discover Greece’s War of Independence hero and engage in playful activities.

The journey continues at Varvakeios Market, where children go on a treasure hunt and taste loukoumia (sugar-dusted treats). A stop at Monastiraki offers mini souvlaki and an opportunity for kids to become “food critics.” The tour ends with a sweet treat—Greek yogurt or chocolate ice cream—and a special “Food Explorer” badge ceremony!
