Family Walking Tour of Mykonos Town | Private 2 hour Tour

Discover the ‘little Venice of Greece’ and all the beauties of this classy Greek island during our kids-friendly Mykonos Town Walking Adventure for Families.

Our tour begins at the old port of Mykonos Town. Walking along the waterfront, we journey past the grand buildings which were once for the island’s wealthy folk. Now converted into chic restaurants and cafes, they are the glamorous face of the island. Behind this facade, however, lies the true heart of Mykonos – the one that your whole family will fall in love with on our guided tour.

You’ll spend your day making your way through the charming backstreets of Mykonos. Wander through a maze-like network of cobblestone alleyways, taking in the charming atmosphere and bougainvillea-lined paths. This is the beautiful, traditional side of the island and a truly unforgettable experience for you and your kids.

After this, you’ll visit the famous Mykonian Windmills, making your way to the historical locale of Little Venice, the open-air cinema, and a 19th-century Mykonian mansion.

Afterward, we explore the island’s traditional past, enjoying a visit to a special family chapel, the Three Wells, and stopping for snacks at a 300-year old bakery.

Lastly, we make our way to the stunning Panagia Paraportiani Church (from the outside only); one of the island’s favorite destinations, before exploring the other little family chapels dotted around the town.

The Mykonos Town Walking Adventure for Families can be combined with a Mosaic Workshop or tailor-made Taste Mykonos Food Tour. Contact us for more information on all the tour possibilities and combinations in Mykonos!

    • We are interested in doing this tour on Sept 21t. We would like to combine it with the “Food Tour” as suggested in the description. Our children are 9 and 10yrs old. Do you think this would be suitable for their age? We are only spending 2 days in Mykonos. DO you think this tour is the best one for first time visitors to Greece?

      Thank you!

      • Hi Sheri, thank you for your message. The Walking Food Tour is a great way to see Mykonos Town with young kids as it is a short walking tour with food stops! Zoi, one of our trip planners, emailed you all the details of this fun tour! We are looking forward to your email.

    • My Family will be in Mykonos Oct 13-15. We have a flight that comes in Oct 13 at 1145. Could we book this private walking tour with food stops that afternoon? Would that be too much? Can you tell me the price for 2 adults and 2 kids 9,14? We would also like to book one or two more tours with you during that time.

      Thanks

      • Hello Sam! Thank you for your interest in our Family Walking Tour of Mykonos Town! Get ready to explore the narrow streets and beautiful spots of the Mykonos Town! Maria has already replied via email. Have a great trip to Greece!
