Day 1
Welcome on board! During the first day of this suggested 3-day itinerary, you will sail from the port of Chania to Balos at the westernmost part of Crete. During this trip, there will be many opportunities to go swimming or snorkelling, to visit the ancient site of Diktynna, and to indulge in great local Cretan food. Balos is one of the most scenic and most photographed bays in the world and the end destination of today will be unforgettable!
Day 2
Waking up in the Balos bay in all its glory is an experience your family will always remember. Ease into the day with breakfast overlooking turquoise waters and pink coral beaches, before taking an excursion ashore. Stroll through the shallow waters of the stunning Balos lagoon area, walk towards the caves and enjoy the sight of Agios Georgios. There is much to explore around and the immense beach area will guarantee endless hours of soaking up the sun and playing in the warm waters.
Day 3
On the third day in Balos, the boat sets sail to Gramvousa, otherwise known as the Pirate Island. The skipper will recount many tales and legends along the way bringing the past to live. When you arrive at Gramvousa, you can hike up to the Venetian castle and enjoy some breathtaking views. Take as many photos as you can and imagine being a pirate in forgotten times. In the afternoon, the boat sails back to picturesque Chania.
