4. Bookings and Contract Formation

A booking is considered confirmed only when:

The person making the booking confirms that they are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of all travelers in the booking, including minors.

Booking & Payment Timing

Specific payment schedules, including deposit requirements, final balance due dates, and any applicable non-refundable deadlines, will be clearly outlined in the proposal, invoice, and/or booking confirmation.

Failure to make payments by the specified deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking without refund, in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.

5. Payments, Pricing, and Fees

5.1 Pricing

Prices are subject to availability and may change due to supplier pricing, taxes, fuel surcharges, or currency fluctuations. Errors or inaccuracies, including pricing errors, may occur.

5.2 Deposits and Final Payments

5.3 Trip Planning and Itinerary Fees (Non-Refundable)

Fees charged for custom itinerary design, consultation, research, and trip planning services are non-refundable, regardless of whether the client proceeds with booking.

6. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

6.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

Kids Love Greece applies its own cancellation policies, taking into account the policies of service providers.

Planning and itinerary fees are always non-refundable.
Where clients or Kids Love Greece pay suppliers directly, the supplier’s cancellation policy applies and will be disclosed in advance.
Last-minute cancellations may result in partial or total loss of funds.
Specific cancellation terms applicable to a booking will be provided in the proposal and/or booking confirmation and must be accepted prior to payment.

Cancellations requested by clients due to personal discomfort with weather conditions, including heat, sun exposure, rain, wind, or humidity, are treated as standard client-initiated cancellations and do not constitute extraordinary circumstances or lack of conformity under applicable package travel regulations.

6.2 Changes

Requested changes to dates, services, itineraries, timing, or participants are subject to availability and may incur additional fees or penalties.

Seasonal or operational adjustments made by Kids Love Greece for safety or regulatory reasons, including earlier start times or itinerary modifications due to extreme heat or site access restrictions, do not constitute client-requested changes and do not entitle the client to cancel without penalty.

6.3 Supplier or Operational Cancellations

Tours and Activities including those at archaeological sites, operate rain or shine. Light rain, overcast skies, wind, or seasonal temperatures do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

Guests are responsible for dressing appropriately for weather conditions (sun protection, hats, water, rain jackets, etc.).

Kids Love Greece reserves the right to make changes, substitutions, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to insufficient participation, strikes, weather conditions, extreme heat, archaeological site closures, pandemics, government actions, or force majeure events.

In such cases, participants may be offered rebooking, a voucher, a suitable alternative service, or a refund limited strictly to services not provided and for which costs have not already been incurred, and subject to supplier policies.

If a suitable alternative service or modified itinerary is provided, no refund shall be due.

Kids Love Greece shall not be liable for additional expenses such as airline tickets, accommodation, or personal costs.

7. Third-Party Services and Supplier Responsibility

Kids Love Greece may arrange, sell, or coordinate travel services that are delivered by third-party suppliers and/or by affiliated or related entities. For clarity:

Third-Party Suppliers may include hotels, transportation companies, airlines, guides, activity providers, and other independent providers not owned or controlled by Kids Love Greece.

Affiliated/Related Entities may include businesses that are under partial common ownership or operated in collaboration with Kids Love Greece (for example, True Cretan and Greek Mythology Tours).

Where Kids Love Greece sells or facilitates tours operated by Greek Mythology Tours or other third-party operators, the operator’s booking and cancellation policies apply and will be disclosed prior to booking.

Regardless of whether a service is delivered by a third-party supplier or an affiliated/related entity, the entity that operates and delivers the service (the “Service Provider”) is responsible for its performance, including operational delivery, safety procedures, staffing, and on-the-ground execution.

When applicable, bookings and services are also subject to the Service Provider’s terms and conditions, rules, waivers, and cancellation/refund policies (including airline and accommodation terms). Where a client pays a Service Provider directly, the Service Provider’s policies control, and Kids Love Greece will disclose such terms when provided to us.

Kids Love Greece is not liable for disruptions, delays, injuries, losses, or damages caused by the acts or omissions of Service Providers, except to the extent caused by Kids Love Greece’s own gross negligence or willful misconduct and to the extent such limitation is not prohibited by applicable law.

8. Travel Insurance

Kids Love Greece strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Such insurance should, at a minimum, cover trip cancellation and interruption, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, personal liability, and loss or delay of baggage.

Travel insurance is particularly important for international travel, group travel, school trips, and bookings involving non-refundable services.

By choosing not to purchase travel insurance, travelers acknowledge and accept the risks associated with travel and agree that Kids Love Greece shall not be responsible for losses, expenses, or damages that could have been covered by travel insurance, including but not limited to cancellation penalties, medical costs, or travel disruptions.

For bookings involving minors, parents, legal guardians, or authorized representatives are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage is in place for each participating minor.

Archaeological sites and outdoor attractions in Greece are government-regulated and may close fully or partially, or restrict visiting hours, often with little or no advance notice, particularly during periods of extreme heat.

Kids Love Greece reserves the right to modify, adapt, reschedule, substitute, or cancel part or all of a tour itinerary when such events render services unsafe, impractical, or impossible to deliver as planned.

Such modifications shall not be considered lack of conformity.
