In Need for Autumn Sun? Head to Greece

Did you know that autumn is the best season to visit Greece? Just ask The National Geographic Traveler magazine, which promises that “you will find the best weather, blooming wildflowers and hotel availability.” We couldn’t agree more!

Greek autumn weather is a wonderful escape from your standard British fare. If you’re worried about the weather, don’t panic! It certainly won’t be as warm as it is in the summer – in fact, it’s much more pleasant in the autumn. Summer in Greece can be quite hot and humid, but in autumn, the weather turns much sweeter and milder. The landscape is gorgeous, the air is invigorating, and the sea is warm (usually a bit warmer than the surrounding air).
