Located in the heart of the historical centre of Rethymno the Avli Lounge offers authentic Cretan hospitality and effectively combines luxury with comfort. It is a complex of three Venetian mansions – modern yet traditional – a real gem of the old town. It was one of the first buildings to be restored some years ago which significantly upgraded this once forgotten part of the town.
Stone dominates in all areas of the building to create a warm and cosy atmosphere where tradition mingles with modern architecture. The restaurant is well known to both locals and visitors for its authentic Cretan cuisine.
The rooms are equipped with all modern comforts but will also take you back in time.

Families should know
- Similar to all preserved buildings Avli Lounge has several steps which do not facilitate the access for buggies
- Please note that parking is not permitted in the historical centre of the town where Avli Lounge is located. If you have a car you will need to park it outside the old town, a short walk of about 2-3minutes to the hotel.
