Santorini: Semi-Private Family Sailing Day or Sunset Cruise
Santorini is a dream destination for every traveler— it is even included in the ‘1000 Places to See Before You Die’ famous travel book by Patricia Schultz. With our semi-private Santorini Family Sailing Day or Sunset Tour, you will explore this incredible island in the best possible way. It is the perfect family-friendly sailing trip for young kids or for those who do not want to spend all their holiday on the boat.
During this 5-hour sailing trip by spacious charter yacht, you will visit 3 hotspots around the island and spend quality time with your family at the same time.
First stop: Hot Springs and Volcano
Your kids will find swimming in the springs of the volcano simply amazing while you could enjoy a healing mud bath and feel the energy of the volcanic activity. After your first stop, you will sail around the volcano, the world’s famous Caldera of Santorini. The crater still seems to be active with hot fumes being released in many points. You will also see white Cycladic houses hanging over the cliffs, Aspronisi, an ancient lighthouse, Akrotiri and the Indian Rock. While sailing, gaze at the various natural caves along the coast and the beautiful small church of St. Nicolas, patron saint of sailors.
Second Stop: Red Beach
Your Santorini family sailing day tour continues at the famous Red Beach. You will have approximately one hour to spend here for snorkeling and swimming. After, you can enjoy a BBQ lunch that is prepared on board.
Third Stop: White Beach
The last stop of this family sailing adventure in Santorini is at the White beach. Here you will have time for more swimming, snorkeling and relaxing.
Mykonos: Semi-Private Morning or Afternoon Sailing Trip
This Family Sailing Experience in Mykonos is a real treat for families with young children and for those who want to do more than just sailing in their vacation.
During this trip with like-minded families, you can soak up the sun’s rays as you sail towards the nearby islands of Rhenia and Delos. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to swim in amazingly clear waters, where you can also use the provided snorkeling gear.
The aim of the day is to relax and to have fun, and there is plenty of both! With an all-day-open bar serving sodas, beers, and wine, and plenty of opportunities for photo and video-taking, the entire family will enjoy the day out. A freshly on-board prepared meal is also included on this 5-6 hours sailing trip.
Mykonos: Private Full-Day or Half-Day Sailing Trip
This Private Family Sailing Trip from Mykonos is tailored just for you and your family. Charter your own boat in Mykonos, and set sail for the day! A traditional wooden boat with an experienced captain, suitable for up to 8 people, is an ideal choice for a large family who would like to experience Mykonos from a unique perspective and at their own pace.
Whilst the day is fully customizable, we have a number of destinations we strongly recommend.
The first suggestion is to visit the sacred island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Group tours usually stay at this island for 2 hours but by chartering your own boat, you can stay for as long or as short as you desire. This helps you to make the most of your visit there with your family.
Our next suggestion would be a visit to the uninhabited island of Rhenia. This is a perfect place to swim in clear waters, and you have full use of the snorkelling equipment on board. You can also try fishing because the boat provides fishing gear as well.
Part of the joy of sailing is to soak up great views from a different perspective. During this Private Family Sailing Cruise from Mykonos we can organize an itinerary which gives you the best photo opportunities, in addition to visiting some of the most popular and more secluded beaches of the South Coast.
Finally, on the way back, you can witness a wonderful sunset. Many people like to see the ruins on Delos lit by the sunset, whilst others prefer the sights of ‘Little Venice’. Whichever you choose, you will not to be disappointed!
