Acropolis Mythology Tours: Question About Pricing

We are really interested on your version of the Acropolis and museum tour ! Mythology is so interesting for our kids right now and we would love to make this an once-in-a-lifetime experience for them.

My main question is about your pricing. All other tours are around the Euro 300 mark and I wanted to understand why yours is higher than other providers. I also wanted to understand how you tie in the mythology topic and go into more details and tools you use to bring this part of Greek history to life (besides the iPad).

Please do not worry at all about your questions, it is perfectly normal to question the higher costs of our tours compared to other companies. Here is the main explanation.
  • Our company is focused purely on family travel to Greece and as such all services we provide are kid-focused. That includes, as you can imagine, all aspects of a tour which includes the selection of a guide, the "script" of the tour incl. the engaging story telling during the tour, as well as the use of technology such as VR. Specifically, we have handpicked our guides after a careful selection (tested them with our kids ourselves!) and identified the most captivating Greek myths favorited by kids (we surveyed kids before and after the tours and got their feedback).
  • All guides are young and enthusiastic, all of them licensed guides (and most of them archaeologists!) with many years of experience in leading tours for kids of all ages. In addition, our guides are very experienced in dealing with families with kids of different ages and use different ways to keep all family members as engaged as possible. For example, storytelling is an integral part of the tour as we have noticed that kids get bored easily if the tour is centered around dates/ chronological order of events/ too much detail.
  • At the same time, all of our clients, have access to us in terms of advice throughout their trip to Greece, if needed. Of course, we are fully aware that not everyone can afford a private (or even a small group tour). So we fully understand your final decision!
In any case, I am sending you a small gift for your kids, which I hope they will enjoy anyway. I am also attaching the list of our favorite restaurants in Athens. We have not updated them for 2021 (due to frequent changes because of Covid-19) although I do not expect that many things to have changed. I hope you enjoy some of those places! Looking forward for your decision.
