Like every single Greek island, Paros celebrates various religious holidays and the famous panigiria, the traditional Greek festivals.

The best known feasts in Paros during spring and summer include:

• Greek Easter (everywhere on the island)
• The local celebration of St Klidon on 23 June (Naoussa / Aliki / Prodromos)
• Events at the monastery of St Anargyroi, on 29 June
• The Fish and Wine festival on 2 July (Naoussa)
• The panigiri of Agia Marina, 16 and 17 July (Kostos village)
• The panigiri of Agia Anna, 24 July (Parikia)
• The Assumption, 15th August, main church in Parikia, with lots of celebrations and fireworks
• The panigiri of St John, 28 and 29 August (Monastiri / Lefkes)
