Crete With Teens

Amazing website. I am going to look through this again more carefully as we are planning a trip in August. We are going to stay in Crete. We have 3 teens–15, 18 & 18. Deciding on staying in Panormos at a house we found or at a hotel in Chania. We are going for a week and plan to explore Crete and not the other islands. From your experience, what do you suggest?

I do not want to be too removed from things because we have teens. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thank you and look forward to reading this further.

We cannot thank you enough for your kind words. Greece is such an amazing country to visit with kids so we are doing our best to include as much information as possible on our website.

Regarding Crete, you choose well the location as it is very strategic in terms of things to do. You have easy access to West (Chania and its beaches), to the east (Elounda and Spinalonga), Heraklion, and the Palace of Knossos but also in the south part of Crete which is breathtaking.
In one week you can do a lot of things, although be aware that Crete is very big so try to mindful of how many places you would like to visit.
