Our suggestion for families is to stay in Paros for 4-5 nights. Then you will have ample opportunity to explore Parikia and a few of the villages, spend some time on the beaches, and take a day-trip to Antiparos.
That said, you can easily combine Paros with more Cyclades islands, such as Mykonos, Santorini and Naxos.
