Mykonos in Off-Season

Hello there! We are a family of 4 (2 kids aged 10 and 12) and we are planning on spending our vacation in Mykonos. The only downside is that we can only travel in Mykonos during the off-season, and we are wondering if there is anything to see there during the winter.

Hey!! Let’s start by saying that traveling to Mykonos during the off-season can be surprisingly rewarding. Mykonos is a famous, cosmopolitan island that is well-known for its summer parties and the amazing sandy beaches.

If you go in winter, you won’t see any of that, but you will experience the island’s natural beauty! There are several pros when it comes to visiting Mykonos in off-season like:

  • It will cost you much less to rent any of the luxurious villas and hotel rooms on the island, and you will enjoy the peaceful accommodation
  • You can eat at affordable tavernas and cafes, alongside the locals
  • Flights from Athens will typically be cheaper than in summer
  • You can explore the iconic Mykonos town, Little Venice, quaint churches and old windmills without thousands of other tourists

Of course, we are here to help you plan your perfect trip to Mykonos. Contact us by email at: info@kidslovegreece.com or in our live chat channel.
