Mythology Food Tour in Athens

We are visiting Athens soon. Our older son is a fan of Greek Mythology! Thus, we were thinking of having a Mythology walking tour in Athens and learn about its history. Still, we would love to combine that with a food tour in Athens. Greek food is my absolute favorite- but neither my son or I eat meat. Please, let me know if you have any private Mythology tours (with food stops maybe?) that can cover our needs.

Thank you so much for contacting us! I'm sure you'll love Athens and we can definitely tweak one (or more) of our tours to fit your needs! After reading your questions, I had a few ideas when it comes to mythology tours and food tours in Athens. In my opinion, we have two main options that combine mythology and food!

  1. You can have two separate private tours: A Mythology Walking Tour and a Food Tour. Our Mythology Walking Tour lasts four hours and you will have the opportunity to learn about Greek mythology while exploring numerous historic sites in the center of Athens. Then you can have our Vegetarian Food Tour in Athens which lasts 3 hours and is an ideal choice if you want to try traditional and contemporary Greek vegetarian dishes.
  2. However, we have created a private tour that combines the two: Our Mythology Food Tour for Families. This is a brand new, best-selling tour. It is a food tour that focuses on Greek myths. During this tour you will hear great stories from Greek Mythology and taste up to 15 different foods. We can definitely customize it to your dietary needs.

Let me know if that helps! For more information, contact me via email at info@kidslovegreece.com.
