Greece is known for its ancient history, beautiful clean beaches and numerous islands. Breathtaking landscapes with green valleys, lush forests, beautiful lakes, beaches with crystal clear waters and rugged mountains are just some of the sights you can admire in Greece. 

So, yes! Greece is an absolutely amazing choice when it comes to green travel.

Apart from that, Greece has made some steps forward concerning eco-friendliness. For example, in recent years, more eco-friendly accommodations have popped up in Greece. Most of them have to do with glamping, which prompted us to write an article on  “glamping with kids in Greece”.
