Your trip will start in the city center, where you can throw yourself right into the heart of the action. First, your walking tour will take you down the picturesque alleyways of Plaka – one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in Europe. Grab an ice cream from one of the coolest ice-cream shops in town and make your way to the Choragic Monument of Lysikrates, the place where supposedly the great Pericles fell in love with Aspasia.

Walk to Dionysiou Areopageitou street, the most beautiful pedestrian street in Athens and enjoy the view of the Parthenon Temple on the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Next up is the beautiful Anafiotika. Also known as the ’island without a sea’, this secret maze of island-inspired houses at the foot of the Acropolis will offer you breathtaking views over the whole city and amazing photo opportunities!

Take a leisurely stroll among some of the most picturesque alleys in Athens and breath in the local vibes. Climb down arguably the most famous stairs in town, making your way through the locals who enjoy their drinks. The wind will guide you to the Tower of Winds in the Roman Agora, the oldest Meteorological Station in the world! Pass the Gate of Athena Archegetis and enter the Thiseion neighborhood – one of the most ancient neighborhoods in Athens.

The tour will end at a traditional taverna situated in one of the most historical streets of Athens and with an amazing view. Your guide will take you through the menu – explaining to you the basics of Greek gastronomy –  and even help you to order. This is your chance to practice your newly learned Greek!
