This 5km Guided Family Hiking Adventure in Mykonos through the countryside of the island, is an ideal choice for active families who don’t just want to lounge on the beach all day. You will need to bring some comfortable footwear, a hat and some sunblock, along with your sense of enthusiasm and adventurous spirit!

In the company of an experienced local guide and their friendly dog, you will set off along a route with several clear objectives in mind.

The first stop of this Guided Family Hiking Adventure in Mykonos is reached after about 1.4 kms walking at Farm ‘Maou’. This is a place to fill the water bottle up, and try some fresh in-season products.

Once you have rested a while, you will continue on through the narrow streets and estates of the area, where the hike then proceeds to the panoramic viewpoint of ‘the Dam’. From here, you can see all around, and will notice local fishermen with their lines in the water, and plenty of animals grazing in the fields.

Moving on from here, there is just a short distance left to the beach of Mirsinis. Everyone will have earned a well-deserved swim here, and it is a chance to relax on the sands for a while. At 13.30, you will be collected in a vehicle, and driven back to your pick-up point. It’s been a great day of hiking and photo taking, and you’ve seen a side to Mykonos few holidaymakers ever think of!
