The Greek island of Naxos is one of the most family-friendly islands in the Cyclades. With spectacular views and beautiful sandy beaches, it has been a popular choice for families for many years. No stay on the island is complete without taking a sailing trip, and this family-friendly activity is one everyone will remember for a long time to come!
The perfect balance of tranquility and fun, this sailing cruise unfolds the adventures of Naxos and the Small Cyclades for you and your family. Choose between our small group cruises (maximum 18 people or 25 people depending on the vessel) and private cruises (upon request).
Depending on the weather conditions, there are 6 different routes from Naxos marina: North Naxos, South Naxos, Paros & Antiparos, Koufonisi, Irakleia, or Schinoussa.
Sample itinerary which includes secluded beaches and coves around Naxos and Small Cyclades:
First stop will be a charming cove which is a protected area of natural beauty. After exploring the cove’s delightful cedar forest and sand dunes, you will be served a delicious brunch bursting with flavors unique to the Small Cyclades.
Following brunch, you will sail to a sea cave abundant with stalactites for a late-morning swim in the crystal waters. Hanging from the ceilings of caves, stalactites are stunning mineral formations bound to enchant all the family. Regard their beauty from beneath the rock dome as you cool down in the turquoise sea.
Luxuriate in an onboard traditional Greek lunch, prepared with the finest local produce and served with the quintessential Greek salad, all enjoyed whilst floating on the Mediterranean sea. Your mouth-watering meal will be accompanied by cold refreshments, ouzo, raki, and wine.
The last stop is a seemingly infinite sandy beach with clear, exquisite waters. The family can let loose on the final adventure of the day and are free to run around, utilize the snorkeling gear provided, swim, and dive to their heart’s content. A fresh fruit salad will be offered to conclude the day on this picturesque secluded beach.

- Includes: coffee & cakes, cold refreshments, lunch served on-board with wine and raki, fresh fruit salads, snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) & swimming flotation aids
- Excludes: transportation from your hotel
- The duration of this day cruise is 8 hours
- This day cruise could be also offered on a private basis upon request
- The small group option starts at 9:30 am and ends at 17:30 pm.
