Welcome to the home of the 12 Mythical Gods of Greece. This is a wonderful journey full of adventure and wonder! Learn all about the residence of the 12 Greek Gods and Goddesses and learn why Zeus the ruler of the world decided to make Mount Olympus the Gods’ Home.

The hike begins in Litochoro, the traditional small village at the foot of the mountain. On beautiful and easy trails you will explore the history of the Enipeas River and see the waterfalls that flow through the village. You will also learn about Enipeas’ interesting mythological story as one of the most beautiful river gods, and how Hera transformed him into a river to punish him for his affair with goddess Aphrodite. Your kids will be delighted by the enchanting waterfalls and the viewpoints that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Next, you will visit the first National Information Center in Greece. Here, together with your experienced guide, you will learn all about the natural and cultural history of Mount Olympus. The diverse flora and fauna provide a fascinating backdrop for our leisurely exploration.

Our hike has been designed with families in mind and is perfect for children with interactive elements such as a map sketch of the route. Our young explorers can take part in games and activities that teach them about mythology and a love of nature and the mountains in a fun and interactive manner.
