The “Run Like The Ancient Greeks: Sports & The History of Marathon Running” is a 1-hour online interactive online class broadcasting live from Greece.

During this online class for kids, we will explore the spirit behind the creation of the Olympic Games Marathon and the other sacred games of Ancient Greece through the stories of heroes.

In this class you will learn:

The spirit and importance of sports and foot races in Ancient Greece
The life of an athlete and the honors that a victor received in Ancient Greece
Running in Ancient Greece and the history of Marathon races
The milestones of the Olympic Games Marathon from Ancient Greece until today

Participants will get to know the history behind famous sports events such as the Olympic Games and Marathon races, and discover the true spirit behind them.

Our expert Greek historian will keep the kids fully engaged through fun and interactive activities such as polls, quizzes and story telling techniques.

Is there a minimum number of participants? In order for us to run this online class, we need at least 5 participants. You will be refunded the money if we do not reach that number.

In my family, there is more than 1 child. Do I need to buy multiple tickets? No. Siblings do not need to purchase multiple tickets as long as they login from the same device.
