The tour will start at the famous neighborhood of Plaka. Your kids will love hearing about the gods and goddesses of the ancient Greek pantheon and the myths surrounding them. They will discover what connections mythology has with the stars and the legends about the origins of Athens.
Eventually, the tour will end near the National Observatory located on Nymph Hill , which offers a breathtaking view of the city of Athens. While there, you will also have the opportunity to learn about constellations, navigation, time measurement, and other astrophysical secrets.
The highlight of your visit is when the sun sets and the stars come out in the Athenian sky. You’ll get the chance to observe the night sky through a telescope and see if you can spot the famous constellations you heard all about earlier on.
