This Traditional Soap Making Family Workshop is a fun family activity for people who want to try something a little different during their vacation in Crete. During a 2 hour session, you will learn about the origins of soap making in Greece, how soap is made, and how olive oil can be used as a base. You need to pay attention – Because you will be making your own soap later on!

The soap making itself is the bit that kids will love. It’s a hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, complete white coats and gloves! Under the instructor’s watchful eye, you can start to mix together your ingredients such as natural fragrances and oils to produce your own bar of soap. It is bound to appeal to every little scientist!

This Traditional Soap Making Family Workshop takes place just 18kms from Heraklion in a small agricultural village. When the session is over, and everyone has their own soap boxed and ready to take home, why not spend some time wandering around the village where it feels like time has stood still?
