Perianth Hotel
A neo-modernist marvel, Perianth Hotel is situated in the heart of Athens at the safe and central Agias Eirinis square. This hot hip square is car-free and near many of the city’s major attractions. It’s a two-minute walk to the metro station and a 15-minute stroll to the Acropolis via Plaka or the famous Monastiraki flea market. Despite its central and strategic location, the Perianth Hotel is not on the tourist trail, which makes it an ideal hip boutique hotel for families who want to explore the city.
Perianth Hotel is designed by the country’s hottest design firm, K-Studio, and showcases modern interiors and streamlined art deco architecture. You will find custom-made furniture and curated artworks by contemporary Greek artists on display both in the rooms and the public spaces. The vibe is calm and minimal with soothing Zen features. The hotel is perfect for those who love the boutique hotel environment and it is made for people who appreciate design.
The beautifully designed spacious rooms and suites at Perianth hotel come in different sizes. Because bars in the small balconies are low, most rooms offer an undisturbed view over the Acropolis. There are two rooms opposite each other that share a hallway with an outside door that closes. These rooms create an interconnecting setup and are ideal for families.
The Penthouse suite of 116 m2 is located on the 6th floor of the hotel and offers visitors a 360-degree view of Athens. It has 2 bedrooms with walk-in showers – the master bedroom also has a bathtub, as well as a living area, dining area and bar. On its terrace is also a private swimming pool and a jacuzzi that is exclusively for the guests who have booked the Penthouse suite.
Inside Perianth Hotel, you can find the Zen Center, a non-profit organization, where guests have free access to explore the teaching of meditation, martial arts, and yoga.
Perianth Hotel serves breakfast with natural juices and healthy organic delicacies from all over Greece including waffles, porridge, and eggs. All products are laid out every morning on a big table on the ground floor designer breakfast area. Families can also have breakfast in their rooms.
Lunch and dinner are available at the ground floor restaurant and bar called Il Barretto, an elegant Italian bistro. Here you will find classic high ceilings and fresh flowers and a great view of the pedestrian way and car-free Agias Eirinis square. Kids will love the kids’ menu (including spaghetti with meatballs, mini-burgers, and crispy chicken schnitzel) and playing on the square whilst parents indulge on Il Barretto’s cosmopolitan Mediterranean cuisine or relax with a signature cocktail at the bar. Added bonus: next to Perianth hotel is Kostas, one of the best Greek souvlaki shops in town!
