    If you’re looking for a bite after your stroll around the Acropolis Museum, definitely try out the Acropolis Cafe and Acropolis Restaurant at the Acropolis Museum. It is only a minute’s walk from the Acropolis metro station.

    The Cafe at the Acropolis Museum

    The cafe is located in the ground floor, next to the Museum Shop. It overlooks the archaological excavation which is just below the building. It is the perfect place for beverages, sweet or light meals.

    The Restaurant at the Acropolis Museum

    The restaurants is situated on the second floor, and it also functions as a cafe and offers snacks, lunch, dinner and/or drinks.

    In order to dine at the Restaurant on the second-floor, you need a free admission ticket, available at the main ticket counters.

    We recommend that you reserve a table in advance. Reservations can be made by telephone during the Museum’s days and hours of operation (+30 210 9000 915) or online at [email protected]. No reservations can be made for Sundays.

    Locally grown fresh ingredients

    Here you will find a variety of healthy traditional Greek dishes with a modern twist. We particularly love the presentation of the food, accompanied by the delicious taste of course.

    The use of fresh local products from all over Greece guarantees excellent quality.

    We particularly love the Greek traditional breakfast, which is served every day until 12 pm, at the Museum’s restaurant and café.

    Prices are on the high end, given the quality offered. Currently, there is no kids menu.

    Whether you’re having dinner or enjoying your coffee and snacks on the outdoor terrace or indoor, you will be enjoying one of the best views of the Acropolis in town, especially at sunset!

    The restaurant often organizes musical performances on Friday and Saturday nights to accompany your meals. The restaurant operates until 12 pm and the emphasis on the menu is local ingredients.

    Do I Need A Ticket To Dine at the Acropolis Cafe of the Acropolis Museum?

    You do not need to have a paid ticket to enter either the Cafe on the ground floor or the Restaurant on the second floor. 

    That said, you will need to get a free admission ticket available at the main ticket counters for the second floor Acropolis Restaurant.

    No tickets are needed for access to the ground-floor café.
