What to Do in Heraklion in Autumn

If you love the Greek island atmosphere, then Crete is the ideal destination for you and your family.

Crete is more like a small country than a typical Greek island. Not only is it Greece’s largest island, but it is arguably the most fascinating and diverse as well. Heraklion is a great wine county, so plan an excursion to a local winery. Visit a winery and show your kids how grapes magically turn into wine. Don’t forget to sample the exquisite Cretan varieties on offer.
