Crete is an adventure playground for the active family, and the fantastic landscape lends itself well to canyoning. The Tsoutsouros gorge in the Asterousia Mountains of South Crete is one of the most beautiful, and this private Canyoning Family Adventure lets you explore it to the max!

You will start off at a nice gentle pace, and the canyon is easy to cross to begin with. This is the perfect introduction to canyoning for the kids, who can get used to the activity as they go along. Once the middle section has been reached, the way then becomes steeper and narrower, and it is here that the adventuring really begins.

There may be water between the rocks, small jumps to make, and beautiful scenery all around. It is an activity where people can help each other, but also achieve a personal feeling of accomplishment. It’s fun, exciting, and a wonderful time for all the family!

Notes:

Anyone with an average level of physical fitness can take part in this Canyoning Family Adventure, and no previous experience is necessary. Routes may be altered due to seasonal weather, and on the assessment of the family wishing to take part.

Items to take along:

A small day pack with a change of clothes, shoes, suncream, sunhat, sunglasses, and water bottle is recommended.
